At a time when India, China & US working hard to enhance the nuclear power capacity to boost its Economy and to reduce dependency on conventional power, Japan has said complete “No” to nuclear power. After the horrifying experience during last year earth quake people of China are not in a mood to see any of their nuclear power plant on. They are ready to manage to with power shortage but they do not want Nuclear power plant. For the first time after 40 years Japan is not using nuclear power. Japan used to be the third largest producer of nuclear plant and they have as many as 50 power plant and they met out 30% of their power requirement out of Nuclear Power. Japan Economy will hit hard by this change in power dynamic. Leading Company like Sony, Canon, Honda & Toyota consume large amount of Power and complete drying of this source of energy will impact them. Japan Economy is in trouble since last two decade but they saw the first Trade deficit in 2011 after 30 years. Definitely all is not going good for Japan . Countries like Germany & Italy are also reducing Nuclear energy gradually .
