SEBI issued consultative paper to improve Corporate Governance

As the new Companies ammendmend Act is is coming very soon SEBI has issued a consultative paper to improve the Corporate Governance level of Indian Listed Company If some part of it got implemented it will change the way listed Company are Govererned significantly Some key points are as follows 1. Significant changes relating to Independent Directors appointed by Company in the BOD 2, Separating the post of Chairman & MD / CEO   3. Keeping in place succession plan of BOD 4. strengthning whistle Blower policy 5. Keeping check on CEO Salary package 6. Introducing Corporate Governance Rating by independent agency .
