RBI has instructed all Banks to inform their Customer about the new notification .
As you all know all cheques/ DD we receive are valid for 6 months from the date mentioned in the instrument . As per RBI latest notification From 1st April 2012 , all cheque and DD will be valid only for three Months from the date of the instrument . Please see the link for notification.
