The 60 Year old Companies Act 1956 is now History
After publication of the Act in Gazette of India , it has become Law .
The effective date of various section will be announced by the Ministry of Corporate affairs
Ministry is also in the process of framing the Rules , which are required to make the Act complete , as in many section it is mentioned that " as may be prescribed"
As on date it is not clear which section will be applicabe to which type of Company
Rules will be framed by MCA ion consultation with professionals .
